I have a Diploma in Graphic Design, Photography & Advertising from KVB Institute of Design, Sydney and a Diploma in Commercial Art & Photography from the James Cook University, Townsville.

I grew up on a remote cattle and sheep station in Western Queensland with my parents and eight siblings and started taking photos when I was eleven. I was educated by the School of the Air for my primary school before going to boarding school for secondary education.

I have lived in many Australian cities and rural zones and travelled to America to teach art and ceramics at Summer School. I’ve been fortunate to meet people from all walks of life and believe my natural rapport with others contributes heavily to the ‘eye’ that I possess as a photographic artist.

As a graphic designer, I undertake editing of images for presentation to the client in-house; and co-ordinate printing, presentation displays, frames and delivery of selected shots through third party service providers. I undertake all technical elements of photographic work myself, including client consultation, shoot planning and set-up, photography, editing, digital uploads and liaison with third party suppliers who I engage for printing and delivery of images to my clients.

I remain abreast of the industry and represent my brand through participation in business networking forums locally, nationally and where possible, overseas as well.
